Starting a cut-should i change my workout

Decided to go on my first cut after bulking from 135 to about 170 for two years or so (took me a bit to figure out how to eat enough and figure out diet, ate too little then too much). So far ive been doing 6 days a week PPL. I was thinking about going to 3 days a week (MWF) and using the time i would be lifting to do cardio and abs. Would this cause me to lose more muscle or would this enhance my cut.
