stretching is better post workout

>warmups
It's called just the bar and working up
Yes, using 30% of max weight I can handle. But not for all muscle groups, usually for those I would train 'til failure.
>tfw I only have one hour a day to train due to work, family and commitments.
>warm up bebby weight
>not so bebby weight
>a little harder weight
>working weight
>little bit progressing weight

>check form in the mirror like a retard without weight
>stretch
>50% weight

>Stretching muscles before workout?
you done goffed anon.

I don't see any down sides to it. I used to get injured every other week then I started stretching not hardcore but basic mobility and static stretches and now I feel better then ever when I work out
>>42696028
if you don average stretching it will be no problem, dont listen to those autists
you shouldnt do the kind meant to increase mobility and muscle lenght tho(intente stretching), you risk to injure yourself by training after that
>>42696028
Stop stretching you faglord
>>42695833
If you static stretch before a workout you're hurting yourself.

How manysets of each?
I'm doing like 1-1-1-3-1
>>42697278
yes depends on the exercise of course
but sets with ~8-12 reps that's exactly what I do
for sets with five reps I'll maybe do a few more reps with the bebby weight than just the five and then work my way up
always thought it would exhaust me as it's more work but warming up is pretty important for progressing imo
