I started practicing handstand at the beginning of 2015, but made slow progress because I didn't practice much. I've finally been practicing 1-2x a day for the last few months, and I've successfully done 2 consecutive handstand pushups the last two workouts. feelz bretty good bros

I'm 6'4 240lbs and over the hill.
All of my goals are bodyweight goals.
And they're slow as fuck goals.
But I am kinda proud of the fact that I can do a half one arm chinup and do assisted one arm chinups with ease.

i trained classical hand to hand with a russian GOAT handstand coach.
you really never use a "handstand pushup" at all ever. totally different mechanics than actually holding a proper handstand. if you ever want to do a one hand handstand you have to learn actual technique instead of sperging at the gym

I reached my very first goal not too long ago. I can finally lift my own weight (55kg) in deadlift and hold it for 10 seconds after 5 reps. As not only a beginner, but a tiny, weak one at that, this is big stuff for me. Felt good.
Anyone have any tips for holding a freestanding handstand? My record is about 8 seconds, I feel like I just need to get loads of practice in to get it properly but I'm open to suggestions

Basically just wall planks with my hands on the floor, with time I gradually made myself more vertical.
I'd say its more shoulders and core than just arms. Give the wall planks a go to see where you are, I've been doing handstand shit irregularly for a few months and I'm only now at a stage where I can try balancing for any amount of time
