Was tired of basically going through life on autopilot after I finished school. Nothing was really good or bad, life was just "eh"...which was fucking gay.

The first 8 months or so was hardcore cocoon mode, however I had a pretty healthy social life before. I wouldn't recommend going full cocoon if you are already introverted and socially underdeveloped.

I also pretty much completely gave up lifting in favor of building god tier work capacity. I achieved the recommended US army rangers PT scores within roughly 3 months and when I went back to lifting I was literally breaking PRs everyday and working out for 90 minutes 5 days a week without feeling completely drained. I'd recommend this to virtually everyone.

- Buy a planner and schedule your entire day in 30 minute increments.
- Exercise everyday...if you buy into "overtraining" you're literally a pussy. There's no reason why you can't do some stretching, mobility work, isometric work, and run 6 miles on a sunday when your legs and traps are sore. Just recover correctly and be smart about your training.
- Fix your fucking diet. Everyone knows what they should be eating and yet people still try to shortcut it with crap like keto, paleo, IF, vegetarian/veganism, IIFYM and other fad diets...Go get a couple of graduate school level nutrition text books and start learning. Also, get a crock pot.
- Pursue hobbies that involve leaving your house.
- Realize that if you're lonely you have only yourself to blame

I'm an extremely overqualified PTA...bachelors in exercise physiology, certified personal trainer (NASM), certified strength and condition coach (NSCA), and am about a year from being a registered dietician.

I also have 9 clients I personally train part time at the moment as well.

I have a pretty hefty savings from working about ~60 hours a week for the past 3 years and an inheritance from my grandfather which included a house. As I said above the plan is opening my own gym. I'm shooting for when I'm 32, but I know if I grind it out until I'm 35 I'll have a MUCH easier time financially...6 years just seems so far away.
