Anyone else here a Keto dieter?

I started this 5 weeks ago and the results have been amazing.

After a week my body got used to the switch. I have a refeed day every weekend and its weird desu. When I binge on carbs I feel drunk for a while post meal, and not like the "itis" but legit buzzed.

I feel less energetic on average especially when I am getting ready to exercise but my endurance is off the charts. I don't crash midway through a routine anymore.

Been doing it for 2 years, lift heavier than ever, just takes time to really get your body adapted well, but i'm still improving. Glad to have left that carb and sugar crap behind.

Fat will boost your test and protein intake is no problem on keto, just welcome the gains into your life

I noticed a dip in my strength the first 3 weeks but I have recovered and I am lifting heavier and longer than I ever have. I don't think I can ever go back to carbs and sugars.

i'm trying a ketogenic diet after listening to a couple of joe rogan interviews with some doctors, and telling my dad about it. he's overweight, and i told him if he does it, i'll do it with him. i'm at a good weight.

1.5 weeks in and i've lost 8lb. i'm over the main hump. the second and third day were the worst. second day i had a headache until about noon, felt extremely sluggish, shuffled around like a zombie. third day i was nauseous and exhausted until about noon, then felt great. since then i've been a bit lower energy than normal, but body is starting to feel really good.

i'm finding that it's difficult to eat enough. i didn't eat bread before i began this diet (maybe a cheeseburger every 2 weeks, and a sandwich once or twice per month), but i did eat cereal once or twice a week, and i did drink beer on and off. sometimes a few times a week, sometimes once or so a month. my transition hasn't been as hard so far as what i've heard from other people.

my dad's experience has been pretty similar to mine, and he's 57 years old. he's about 70lb overweight, and is a carb ingesting beast. he fasted the first day, but didn't listen to my advice to drink lots of water, so he lost about 7lb the first day, and when he started drinking water it all came back, so he was pissed off until i explained it to him. he experienced the sluggishness for a couple days and had some headaches.

i helped him with the headaches by recommending morton's lite-salt and magnesium supplements.

the fatigue i have lately is very subtle, and it's getting less noticeable.

Got into ketosis day 2 and my lifts have actually been going up while the fat is stripping away at an almost scary rate.

My main issue is eating enough now. My satiety hits early and eating gets kinda grindish.

Fuck me ive been trying it for 3 weeks and it's hard as shit to consistently find meals that have no/low carbs unless I'm just eating fucking meat all the time. I've been trying for 2 years to Los weight whether it's excessive exercise, fasting, keto, low cal. I'm 5'11 185lbs and I can't fucking lose weight. Seriously considering just switching to a fried egg for breakfast, chicken breast for lunch, and protein shake for dinner diet and just letting everything else go to shit if I just means I can fucking lose 10 pounds
