Anyone else fuck up their shoulders? Pretty sure i tore my rotator cuff I was holding onto a tree above my head and slipped on wet clay so my body weight must've torn it. If I were to try to lift it, straight out being 90degrees, I can maybe make it to 20. I looked it up and recovery is like 6 months but fuck that, anybody have some tips/exercises? So far just massaging it and then letting it dangle and swing it around back and forth and little circles. For example getting a jug of water out of the fridge is a nono.

get a lacrosse ball and gently massage the area that hurts twice a day for a few weeks
get a PVC pipe or a broom and look up rotator cuff mobility circuits. do those twice a day

If it's torn, which it sounds like it is, it won't heal itself. You need surgery.

I don't wish you bad things OP but I injured my rotator cuff while benchpressing and it took like 4 years to stop hurting... exercises and all...
You need to take it slow and consult a professional.
