I've thought a lot about coding and know basic C++, but I know nobody in the business personally and have no mentor. There's a huge leap from learning the fundamentals and actually working on something, and every "entry level" job wants a fluffed up portfolio and a knowledge of several languages. I'd rather just get started in medical since I know both of those are safe. By all means, change my mind. I just need something to get me out now rather than later.
