I started with starting strength for a several months. It gets shit on /fit/, but it's great for beginners and for women because it focuses a lot on lower body and it builds a strong foundation.
Get up above 1pl8 squat with SS, and then start the Strong Curves program. Order the book. Read the whole intro. You'll probably be ready to begin the Gluteal Goddess chapter (kek) having done SS, and it's really effective.
