/fit/, is it true that cancer feeds on carbs and that low-carb diets starve cancer cells to death?

I googled this in 3 seconds you lazy fuck
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3267662/
yes but the most important part of keto is it makes me better than you as a person. much like the female gender, being liberal, or being a minority

Nope cancer feeds on everything but requires protein just as well because it creates new cells so incredibly rapidly.

>Thus, with progressive tumorigenesis, cancer cells become more and more 'addicted' to aerobic glycolysis [53] and vulnerable to glucose deprivation. Indeed, several studies have shown that malignant cells in vitro quickly lose ATP and commit apoptosis when starved of glucose
tldr yes it does
100% of people who stop eating do not die from cancer.

>in vitro
The people doing these studies should be flipping burgers and cleaning floors.
You would literally die the second your blood sugar dropped to zero, sugar is more important than oxygen for survival. So the only thing that low carb diet will do is stress you out, and stress is the thing that causes and promotes cancer.
The answer is "some cancers" and "it depends".
If you want to do LC as a sort of cancer prevention Pascal's Wager, it might help, but promoting autophagy might do more, like 24h fasts.
Of course, don't smoke, get proper sleep, etc.
