I'm a 22 year male, been lifting on and off for the past 4 tears, but I let other things take my time away for my lifting. I started SS when i first began lifting, then i moved over to brosplits. lost alot of strength and put on a lot of fat after i stopped lifting. My question is, would you recommend me starting SS again? And since I'm already on the heavier side, should i still eat a surplus of calories?

Ignore the faggot. Depending on how heavy you are. If you are fat, yeah do SS and cardio to lose lose weight while trying to maintain what you have. If you are willing to gain a little bit more fat for muscle and strength then it's up to you if you want to do SS or not. Personally I would do SS and bulk just to get the base strength back then move to a brosplit/PPL routine after and lose the fat. Of course this is if you weren't very fat to begin with. This is all my opinion though, you do you broseph.
Thanks man! I'm 6'4" and weigh 238 pounds. I haven't lost a lot of muscle, but just a bit of fat on top.
