Is the routine in pic related good? What could be improved?
It's based on Brian Alsruhe Linear Progression program from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dcr-JtlmtVc

Thx in advance

routine doesn't mean shit. staying consistent with lifting and injury free is 50% and eating right is the other 45%.
>>
>>42663683
What exactly does eating "right" mean, though? Not being a smartass, genuinely asking because it seems like every source has conflicting info.
>>

Working out 5 days in a row is retarded, so no it's not good.
>>
>>42664123
Why is that retarded? Do you mean just for a beginner, or for anyone at all?
>>
>>42664089
get your protons, avoid sugar as much as you can, drink more water and don't go over your calorie intake
>>
>>42664191
What about sugar if you're a hungry skeleton?
>>
>>42664123
Why is it retarded? Btw, it's 4 day in a row...

Getting the necessary macro- and micro-nutrients while adhering to the number of calories you intend to consume based on your goals (less than maintenance to lose fat, more than maintenance to gain muscle)

>Getting the necessary macro- and micro-nutrients
For maintaining health, is it really as simple as that? It seems pretty straightforward to think that where they come from can either be super detrimental or helpful to your overall health.

Anyone. Your muscles and CNS need rest to recover and grow stronger. Constantly stressing your body hinders this so don't train more than 2 days in a row.
>>
>>42664617
what about in the military basic training?
>>
>>42664617
By your logic, how do you explain olympic lifters and elite athletes training 5, 6, 7, or even 8 days a week? Are they all just blissfully unaware that they live in a constant state of injury and declining performance, or do is it possible to train your CNS to be able to handle more stress? Which is the truth, oh wise and beautiful shitposter on /fit/?
>>
>>42664617
Meh, bs... as the other anons said, military and athletes programs all include everyday training. Sure it's hard in the beginning but you get used to it, and you can always vary intensity and volume.
>>
>>42664697
they don't train at their 100% all the time. most of their lifts are in 70-80% region and even more in less for technique. they also lift multiple times a day with 45-1h sessions per lift then breaks in between. they are also not natty obviously

it's their job though. completely different than what normal people do
