How are you all eating? Are you bulking, cutting, maintaining? Getting good results?

What dietary changes have worked best for you? What's your secret sauce no homo?

Im bulking, I just finished an almost 40lb cut so I'm walking my calories back up slowly. My biggest gains goblin is binging after sex because I'm actually getting laid now, so I'm glad to be finally allowed a surplus

secret veggie/salad sauce for me is

i started a ketogenic diet last monday. my dad is around 60 and wants to lose some weight and be healthier in general. i told him if he'll try the ketogenic diet, i'll try it with him. after 2 days of anxiety and nausea, i'm feeling pretty good, but still a bit drained and lethargic. i've lost about 7-8lb.

i'm eating bacon, ground beef, string cheese, salads with olive oil and vinegar or homemade ranch dressing, veggies with the ranch dressing, nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), a small amount of berries (they taste like candy now), eggs, etc. i'm saving my bacon grease to use for cooking things.

i'm also taking a magnesium supplement, and using lite-salt so i get some extra potassium through the day.

it is HARD to eat enough. food is now work. it's fun and challenging. i've managed to stay below 30 carbs. a couple days i felt physically better than i can remember from recent history, and had much more energy. i didn't eat a lot of carbs before (not a bread eater, etc.), but i did stuff like drink beer, binge a bit on candy every so often, eat doughnuts once every couple weeks at work, etc.

my dad's progress is pretty good so far. he's lost around 8-10lb, and has even been researching all of his options. he just hit the "keto flu" on saturday, and i expect it will be even rougher for him, since he's older than me, overweight, and a big carb eater (lots of rice, fruits, junk foods, etc.). i hope he sticks out the down period and comes out the other side. i'd love to see him hit 195lb. he's currently around 260 (6'-0").

i'm 173lb & 5'-10". 170lb is my typical weight when i'm active on a non-restrictive diet. 180-185lb is my typical weight when i'm working in an office environment and on a non-restrictive diet. i've been working in an office for the past 1.5 years, so i've been around 180-185.

I literally have to eat chicken everyday to meet my protein requirement. Any deviation and my macros are fucked, even if I go near carbless. Just two more months of this, with any luck.
