I've been making bulk meals of relatively healthy and cheap foods. Lots of chicken curry, turkey chili, chicken quesadillas (with a good amount of onion and red pepper. Light on the cheese), among other things.
I've had a lot of trouble controlling my diet for a long time, and this trouble has followed me for about 3 years. My health has been getting slowly better and better, as I went down from 300 pounds to 230 with a good deal more muscle.
My cooking has gotten so much better through trying different spice combinations and methods of prepping food that I feel more satisfied every meal, even if the food is lower calorie. There's so little that tastes bad, even if I pack it full of nutritious foods that I used to think were gross and never tasty. Today somebody mentioned to me that they were craving sweets, which I hadn't even thought about for a few days. Normally I crave sweets all the time, at least while I'm eating a deficit.
My point is this:keep trying even if you fail time and time again. Work on your methods and learn from each failure. If I can do it, anybody can.
