put a little bit of olive oil in your hair before bed. go to sleep with a beanie on and wash out in the morning

that's what you think. dandruff is actually the skin off your head flaking off.

I use coal tar derivative shampoo every 2nd day and it keeps it well in check.

Look for shampoo called T-gel or ask a pharmacist to point it out for you. I used to be super bad before I started using that stuff.

you've probably tried this OP, but my experience is that I was prescribed fancy prescription shampoos for years, did nothing, and then regular over-the-counter head and shoulders cleared it up in a month

This, works like a charm.

I use keto shampoo twice a week and a gentle shampoo everyother day. Buzzcutt or short hair cut also reduces dandruff, I didn't have to worry until my hair got longer

I recommend denorex extra strength. Doesn't smell as bad.

I've heard good things about rinsing with apple cider vinegar, but that's for dry scalp, not dandruff. They are similar though, you might want to double check and make sure you actually have dandruff.
