Hello, i work at a place where i can get some supplements for free. Currently the only free supplement is glucosamine. I have some shitty knee problems and was wondering if anyone knew if this worked or not.

Like i know i can look it up online and i have but i was wanting to know user experiences with the product or similar
Glucosamine sulfate for only 3 weeks straight daily for hand tendinitis or something similar. Undoubtedly something was inflamed in the hand from constant abuse at work (carrying heavy shit, hammering, tying/cutting large gauge wire). I'd say it did nothing for me in that short time period.
(They say it's in the long term, accumulative effect) Probably didn't take it long enough.

I just started using glucosamine and chondroitin last week. No real changes yet of course. The literature seems to suggest that it's minimally effective when combined with condroitin, and I believe sulfate salt is better. I think the Mayo Clinic gave it a B in terms of efficacy.
