Hey dudes, just looking for some answers.
My mid back is always tight, I went into the gym and ran on the stairs some, then went to do legs, my squat max is 305 and I was on my last set, of 5, with 225 pounds on my back and on my second rep as I was coming up while squeezing my glutes, the muscle running along my spine on the left side did some weird shit and it hurt quite a bit. That was about 20 minutes ago, now just feels like a pulled muscle but a lot less intense. Oh, I also did some stretching of my groin, quads, and lower back before going. I can still do about everything without pain, just hurts a bit and wanted some opinions. Thanks anyway.

Any idea as to what the injury is? Feels like a pulled muscle but it's not nearly as sensitive. I really need to not be out of the gym right now.
It's also not really inhibiting my ability to do anything, but I racked the bar and went home just in case. I'm not trying to have a serious injury. I can still sprint and jump and all that shit.
