Any former skinny fats here? How should I approach escaping this mode? What bf% until I'm considered not skinny fat?

There's generally no point in cutting as skinny fat. I know it seems counterintuitive but you have to strengthen up first, at the weight you're at you won't be able to shed off all the fat and not look like shit. Also shedding the belly fat will be nearly impossible even if do daily cardio. Gain some muscle first, it's a long journey.
