does a two pound gain in a month mean I'm bulking as clean as possible?
Also, should I do cardio during a bulk?
Also, what causes muscle loss? When I eventually cut, I don't wanna fuck it up.

>as clean as possible
If you want to do that, and have the experience and time to make it, go for
>100 calories surplus per day
you shouldn't gain more than a pound per month, but ofc it will vary with water retention as per usual.

and sorry, forgot to mention:
you should do cardio. Probably fasted cardio, or post-workout cardio (but that has its own set of problems), you want to hit your fat stores.
It will kill your gains, you'll gain more overall than without it (you'd never have imagined that huh?), BUT it will help with partitioning, you'll have a better ratio of muscle gained to fat gained.

there is no answer to your question
me last year:
>start bulking (natty)
>6 months bulking
>1 lb per week
>be fat at the end
>cut
>lose literally everything you've gained (strength and weight)
>look literally the same and be as strong as last time after cut
