Never heard about phytoestrogens. I add ground flax seed to shakes because it helps me take massive shits.

It has ALA Omega 3s, which is pretty much useless for the body. The body uses DHA and EPA Omega 3s, which are found in marine life such as krill and fish.

You can get DHA from Algal oil--which comes from algae that fish consume--if you're vegan or vegetarian.

As >>42620776 said the plant based omega 3 is broken down as well in our body. Its certainly better than eating food high in omega 6, but it is not as good as animal based sources. Idk about the phytoestrogens but it could be overblown like last time when anons were saying it caused prostate cancer.
