BJJ is the most fun out of all of them. You have the light side and the dark arts, though, so you get to make a decision about the kind of expert you become.
>Do BJJ
>Learn fundamentals until blue belt (~1 1/2 years)
>Decide between the light side and the dark arts
LIGHT SIDE:
>Lots of gi
>Guard passing
>Positional control
>Chokes and joint locks
>Participate in the (((international))) BJJ federation tournaments
>"No-gi is basically the same, but with a lot less grips, right?"
DARK ARTS:
>Lots of no-gi
>50-50, outside ashi, knee reaping
>Finding quick finishes
>Wristlocks, kneebars, heel hooks, guillotines
>Participate in fringe tournaments and MMA
>"What do you mean you can't kneebar?"

There's no way that driving 2 hours per Sambo class would EVER be worth it.
