Lifted some time ago, stopped cause injuries. Knees still hurt sometimes when putting pressure on them thanks to squatting.
Did I permanently damage my knees and my completely nullified and chance at being able to lift again?
>lanklet, compound exercises they said
Your knees won't ever heal if you don't use them. Start rehabbing with body weight squats and stretching and shit

I honestly don't know how this happened. Hope you forgive, /fit/

Okay thanks, can I do squats at all later? I wanted to hit the gym with a friend in a month, we're gonna buy a 12 month membership and I really want to get serious this time. Should I only use bodyweight for the time being and focus on upper body? How would I go about doing that without compound exercises? The time I lifted might as well not count at all.
Go to a doctor, don't try to work through pain that isn't muscle soreness or you WILL cause permanent damage.
