Can you gain strength and size at the same time? I read that to recover from taxing exercises like squats and deadlifts, you have to rest for 3-4 days... but then you won't get strong :/
3-4 days rest is retarded. Just don't go up to your 1rm every time, but you can squat AT LEAST twice a week. Deadlifts is a bit different though, because I find i get some knee and hip issues.
Anyways, it is possible to gain size and strength if you pyramid sets, ie start at 12 reps with lightweight and work down to 3 with a heavier weight.
