Hi /fit/
I only just started gymming last week, lifting weights. I already do enough cardio as I walk/jog regularly.
I need to lose about 10kg of fat but would also like to build some muscle as my upper body is quite weak, I am somewhat skinnyfat.
Is it possible for me to make muscle gains while on a calorie deficit to lose weight? Or do I have to bulk up first and then lose the fat or the other way around?
Sorry for the newfag question
Pic related is similar to my body type, I just have a little more belly fat

the other way around
Strenght training + low cal diet and you'll get there eventually

you're skinnyfat, so yes, it's possible. Workout hard every single day. Diet hard every single day. Chug green tea when you're hungry. You will gain muscle and lose fat. This will only last you a limited time. Once you start getting leaner, it will become necessary to increase calories to gain muscle. Now, lift for 6 months and don't create another thread until you've lurked more.
