Is this true? Instead of a 30 min intense workout, should I be doing a 60 min lower-effort workout?

OP your image literally gave me cancer.
And your workout should take as long as you need to the hit the appropriate volume without injuring or over-exerting yourself.
Im working out almost 3 hours, what bad things could happen to me?

This is the kind of shit obese Janice in accounting believes about exercise. Stay retarded, OP

It's technically true, but for all practical purposes its useless.
Your body will use its intracellular energy, then glycogen from blood (made of sugars) then will oxidize fat for energy. But how long you exercise in a row is irrelevant to burning fat. You just have to eat fewer calories.

what does my body do between minute 15 and 30 of my workout? burn protein?
Best way to burn fat is through fasted cardio in the morning imo.

It burns less and less gycogen, and ramps up the burning of triglycerides. Now those times are an average of averages, so don't take them as gospel. They can vary with exercise intensity, nutrition, hormonal environment, etc.
Medfag here.
If you haven't eaten before workout the blood insulin level is quite low, which means your skeletal muscles unable the extract blood sugar, it is used exclusively (simplified) by the nerve system, renal medulla, and red blood cells. Instead, your skeletal muscle uses its intracellular glycogen storage, kreatinin-phosphate and the blood tryglicetides for it to function. On normal aeronic workout which does not take that long (less than an hour), the triglycerid extraction is rather low nonetheless. This is the reason workout is better for progressive fat loss because it has a significant "after burn effect" or whatahell is it called here, and aerobic workout is usefull for significant cardiovascular health improvement.
