I was wondering basically the exact question of OP. Decided to lay off the creatine for a moment and then get back on once I have formed the habits needed to be successful on a cut (IF style) already been off creatine for a few weeks so I would have to go though loading again which I'm content to leave for a few weeks anyway..

Make up your own mind OP, probably doesn't make much odds but it might slow down a cut but make it easier to keep your gainz IDFK, lol

The only reason not to use creatine on cut is if you bloat and you're going on stage. Even then, you'd only drop it like 2 weeks out or so.

chnces are that if you are taking creatine you are around 15% bodyfat already. like some other anon said, yes it does retain water, but the bloating is a myth. unless you really have to drop a specific amount of weight there's really no reason not to. i'd say to just take it and see how it goes. if you stick to your caloric deficit you will lose body fat either way. oh and just drink a lot of water which is always a good idea anyways.
