it might be, hear me out on this, your weak glutes.
i had the same problem. i couldn't activate my glutes when deadlifting/rowing, so my lower back ended up taking a lot of the load. because i was forced into shit posture, i could never row comfortably. barbell rows went from my worst to my best lift once i unfucked my body.

>add in glute work like jefferson deadlifts, step ups, etc
>deload to an empty bar for rows, but immediately after you finish your 3-5 sets or whatever you should do a pull up/chin up/pull down variant to exhaust your lats
also: do rear delt and neck work if you aren't already
tighten your abs and don t ego lift it, those two things will save you from Snap City.
