Why man? Join an exclusive gym club. In my club, celeberties workout amongst business owners and upper middle class or athletes. The entry price isn't your budget gym, but it gives you great service and it filters out a certain crown.

In the gym it's like a sanctuary: nobody talks and everyone is working hard to get a great physique. At the drink stand, there is some light chatting as it is mixed.

now, the sauna and steam bath, it's usually male only as women feel very soon uncomfortable. Men sit here, nude, and are always talking about business, philosophy, projects, politics and society.

The Ancient greek atmosphere is very well present there. And more often as not, the men have this greek physique as well.

These statues are stylised as fuck. Artists by that time had evolved into less realism and more idealized figures. Cause previous generations had mastered realism.

Seriously, one of the most insidious thoughts to our understanding of history and our present situation is that we are somehow fundamentally better than or different from these ancient civilizations. If photographers today use photoshop, you can bet ancient sculptors weren't staying true to their model's physiques.

I don't buy that these guys could sculpt statues so perfect and then just slap flat colours on half of it. It was probably very realistically coloured. Ancient paintings that survived don't look like stick figures drawn by 8 years old, so they probably wouldn't paint well-made statues in such a garrish way.
