For chicks, it doesn't really matter how old you are. If you have enough game and money, you'll get to bang well into retirement age.

For your own vanity, certain facial types age really well, and still look manly and awesome into their 70s. Especially faces with square jaws, elongated heads, full beard, etc.

Mentally, you only start becoming a true man in your mid-30s.
Trust me, I'm more than twice the man I was in my mid-20s, and I was already well respected among my peers.
