I'm from Sweden and nothing similar to this has ever happened to me. There are a few jacked dudes who attend my gym, yet I highly doubt they're pulled behind a corner and forced to piss in a cup. It's also illegal to force someone to piss in a cup here.

Then again I attend a 24/7 gym with no staff attendance during the night.

I dunno about Sweden, but Denmark gyms are largely members of an anti-doping group, which means their members are contractually required to submit to a drugs test if asked.

There are gyms that don't bother with it though, its totally opt-in.

Either way its pretty cucky. Test competing sportsmen, not random vanitybros. Who cares if someone wants to use drugs to change their body?

Oh yeah, there are at least ten posters and propaganda-like fliers at the front desk with a bunch of information about steroids and their use. Other than that it's pretty chill, though. I guess they're just trying to make a bare minimum effort by slapping up some "drugs are bad m'kay" posters.
I'd be out of the gym before they had time to pull down my zipper if I was asked to piss in a cup.
