Anyone here bad posture?
Any tips how to improve it permanently?
Things you should avoid?
Depends on your specific postural problem and whether you already have any degenerative changes in the spine from your shit posture, but rule of the thumb is: stretch the muscles that are tight, activate and strengthen the ones that are inactive and weak.
I've got forward head, forward shoulders, anterior pelvic tilt, duck feet and flat feet. Basically my entire body tilts forward. My chiropractor went in depth with me about all my symptoms. Most of them are just tight muscles and muscle imbalances. He recommended me some workouts and stretches to do often and I'm slowly making progress, it's been a few months. He also advised being conscious of your posture and correct it often. For me I have to stick my neck back, which is actually putting it in it's normal place. It's weird at first but when you get used to it your body will adapt to make it your new normal. Good luck.
Do dead hangs, deadlifts, and yoga
Keep your shoulders back and chin up.

Im just working on my anterior pelvic tilt too. Tried it many times already did the whole shenanigans to no avail, I stretched etc until I was able to do the splits and still my posture was the same. Now I do what a guy on youtube suggested and do all the usual things while trying to keep a rounded lower back. After one session my back was straight. Of course I have to keep it up but it seems to work really well. You can check it out if you want, iirc it was a video by PrecisionMovement.coach
