Hypertrophy-Specific Training(HST)
Meme or legit program?
My friend is shilling this program to me. I don't see why it would be better than a 4 day split.
Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the matter?

It's a decent program. All in all it gets more things right than it fucks up. Funnily enough, many people find that it's actually a better strength program than hypertrophy.
From personal experience I'll recommend starting out with a heavier weight than the author tells you to. Do still use the same rep range, but don't go as light.
Also, as I recall he tells you to take a week completely off for deconditioning. I recommend simply taking it easier during this week.
The author says some smart things, but he also says some retarded things.
I say go for it. Commit to it for a a couple of months and see what it can do for you.
