So I keep noticing all these "body fat estimation guides" everywhere and a particularly detailed one caught my eye.
http://truth-dealer.com/physiology/fundamentals/lean-body-weight-03.html
It points out certain features to judge definition by but I keep noticing that the jawlines of the users vary a lot regardless of bodyfat.
The middle image for the 4-6% BF zone shows a guy staring dead center into the camera, and you can see some of his chin fat hanging down. /r9k/ would call the nigga a chinlet rofl.
But look at beardless guy on the right side of the 10% BF category, his jaw is 100x more defined.
So what gives? If rules like, how much veinage you can see on this or that limb apply and are "consistent" why aren't the jawlines?
Is it just fit dudes with recessed jaws lol?
I'm 15% bf but I can't pull off proper head posture without the bottom of my jawline disappearing or is that normal?
If you have a recessed jaw is fixing your posture worth it at all since it just makes you uglier?
Shit like this is stupid, there's something called fat distribution and when you get down low enough you'll start to notice it more, some guys keep more fat on their arms, some guys on their face, some guys keep more fat around their organs. It's all about genetics. Trying to estimate body fat % on how clear cut your jaw is dumb only accurate way is proper dexa
caused by recessed bones (mainly maxilla) and maybe incorrect tongue posture
that's literally it

>proper dexa
?

Already knew that what I'm asking is if the bit of underhanging skin like on this pic with the ideal posture is natural or if the jaw should be flush and tight

In the proper posture pic though there's a slight angle upward slop to the guys jawline is that natural or recessed bones?

Is that why whenever I take a selfie where I'm looking down at the camera I look fat/my jawline disappears? Will getting fit help

Chin implant.
Best decision of my life.

Fat surrounding the jaw is much more to do with mouth posture than overall body fat (when you're not overweight) watch some of mike mews videos on YouTube

genetics. its because of how his jaw/chin is shaped + body fat storage patterns (which are different for everyone).
i'm much higher bf than him and dont have that (17%)
