What are the benefits of doing Olympic style squats as opposed to PL squats?

Is it true that Olympic squats target your quads more or is that a broscience maymay?

If you want to target quads more to front squats for volume.

Squatting below parallel saves your knees in both positions.

Low bar is safer for your back than high bar due to less spinal compression.

Been trying this the last two legs days.

Holy shit it's so much better. feet close together with toes pointing 45 degrees is honestly the best way of squatting. At least for me.

Before I was putting my legs out wide which was causing knee pain even though I was going atg.

also OP high bar targets quads more but low bar gives more weight which means more load on your quads so they kinda equalize
