It is real. If you somehow end up in a concentration camp, eating potato skins and bugs for a couple months, then your metabolism will slow down.
The 'starvation' that sets in because you haven't eaten in a couple of hours? Bullshit. The worst that can happen is low blood sugar, and if it hits you that badly you better get it checked out.

No food company are the culprit because they want to you to eat as frequently as possible. Even fit falls for the bait with as much as six meals daily.

It's real but not in the way they think. Your body enters ''starvation mode'' after a couple of months of an extreme caloric deficit on a diet with shitty nutrition, like sub 800kcal per day. None of them have experienced it because that would require a long term abstinence from stuffing their face.

Anything fat acceptance whacktivists say is wrong.
