Hi all. I just have some questions that are too longwinded for the QTDDTOT.
Back story: Going to start swimming HIIT style. Goal is primarily stamina. I don't lift. It's a bonus if I lose some body fat percentages.
1. Is this a good HIIT routine
Warm up: 4 lengths
Sprint 25m
Slow 25m (active rest)
Repeat 6-10 times
Progression: Add 'sets', swim harder or add another HIIT session into the week.
2. Is it alright to do this 2-4 times a week? Since I won't be recovering from any lifting I figure I could do more.
3. Will this stamina translate well into daily life activities? Running, work, sex lol
