Kinda. Buy ones with adjustable weight instead.

If you're starting out lifting and you're pushing yourself with them then no. After a while of lifting yes because there are many more exercises you can do to improve grip strength and forearm mass.

My friend used to think it was fun to squeeze my hand when we shook. He doesn't anymore.
I keep one in my car. It's a good stress reliever while driving in rush hour. I've gone from doing sets of 30 squeezes to sets of 150 squeezes so I'm sure my grip is stronger or my forearms just have more stamina, but my forearms haven't gotten any bigger.

No, your muscles are used to the weight there's no point using them anymore if you can do them 150 times that's like bicep curling a 3kg dumbbell every time you do arms your muscles are used to them and they wont grow. Nobody gives a shit how many you can do, If your forearms haven't gotten any bigger then that means you've hit the max amount of muscle growth you can with them.

I'm not buying new ones.
I'll just use them for stress relief and to see if I can get to 1000 squeezes without developing the most severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome ever recorded.

I have an adjustable one at work that I love to use. I can't get too scientific, but I've cranked the thing way up from when I bought it, so there's obviously been muscle growth of some kind.
