how do you activate your glutes?
so maybe this is just because i'm always exhausted after work and tuesdays are a bad day for lifting because of the working lol. but like. doing my glute bridges today i really felt them hard in my right hamstring. like maybe close to pulling a muscle? couldn't even tell if my glutes were activating at all really because my attention was all on that hamstring.
and maybe it's because i'm ego lifting? glute bridges are my heaviest lift and i feel pretty badass doing 193lbs lifts. should i scale it back next time to really work on glute activation?
i don't really know what to do here. it's frustrating trying to activate my glutes. anyone else like this? also is it normal for preworkout to make you feel sick to your stomach and kinda close to fainting? close to fainting especially when doing squats.
