Sup /fit/ I need help. I started lifting like 5 months ago and I lost shit ton of fat and stuff so im very happy. When I was fat I had a bulging lower stomach and I thought It was because of higher bodyfat but now that I lost fat I still have the bulging stomach. Anyone knows what to do? Do I have shit genetics ? Will I ever make it???

Thought I read somewhere the belt is one of the hardest places for men to lose fat, i.e. as you lose weight it tends to be the last place the fat comes off. Don't know if that is total bullshit or bro science or legit.
You still have a lot of body fat.
You are still not lean.
Maybe you made a lot of progress, but you need to keep going.

I'm currently at 174 lbs 5'9" 14 bf % and I STILL have a small lower stomach pouch and slight fat on my sides. It looks weird since I have bulging upper abs but only a shadow of abs in the lower portion. Another problem area would be my lower pecs but not as bad.
