Then it just went to shit. Somehow some fuckwits came and saw jacked guys and thought everyone here was swimming in pussy. They then post how to into gf threads. Hey guys what do i text this girl. Then came the degradation of funny stories into fat people hate threads. What started as people sharing funny stories of their day to day lifestyle and peoples reactions slowly developed into funny stories of fat people and eventually just plain stories that are unfunny about fat people. Then the hate began. Old /fit/ didnt really give a fuck about fatties, that was their choice and we just had a laugh about scooters. Daily threads of people seething with rage about what some fat fuck on tumblr wrote took over and the fun was lost.

Generals. What a fucking circle jerk. Their creation came as a result of the board becoming flooded with other shit to the point where we need enclaves to actually discuss fitness and the like on a fucking fitness board. Naturally what happens is you set up small communities when you do this. Enter any general and its the same guys talking about anythign but the topic at hand. You enter a fucking chatroom at this point. "Hey dave how was work" comments on an anonymous internet forum. Whats the fucking point. This place was great because of its format. Small, fleeting anonymous conversations that dont last. Generals have just turned this place into a normal forum. Its bodybuilding.com with hentai.

One thing that has improved is that this place is more cardio friendly i guess. Makes up for the tragic decline. I blame the majority on the obssessed spergs who came here thinking it will get them women. The decline can be directly correlated with the number of threads about women in general.

Im just sad to see this place this way when it was honestly one of the best boards. I come here like once a month nowadays

Nah ive just moved on from forums. Old /fit/ infographics and a year lurking were prob enough for anyone to know the basics of fitness that can last them a lifetime. Would be nice to have a decent general thread on nutrition and meals so /fit/izens could share their recipes alongside the macros, both for cutting, bulking or just plain healthy eating, so minerals and vitamins profiles of food could be shown too.

A few things I've noticed that have changed over the last three years or so:

Other than that not much really. None of that even bothers me. /pol/ leaks into every board and always will. Fat hate threads have always been political argument threads, it's just becoming more brazenly so. /r9k/ woman hate and insecurity threads and posts have always been here. I don't see any noticeable increase or decrease in them. Some memes have faded from the collective consciousness and new memes have popped up. Such is life. Board culture seems fine to me. Still happily mainboarding this stupid stupid place filled with all of you lovely people.
