Right now I'm doing 16:8, I eat from noon to 8pm, usually every 2 hours. I might go to 18:6 soon since I usually just stop eating around 630 or 7 anyways. Once you get over the hump of "ugh I gotta start thinking about WHAT I eat in addition to how much" it's not that bad. Try to have a general idea of what you're eating for the day when you get up. After a while you'll be able to know what macros might need attention that day and adjust accordingly.

MFP keeps track of it and my general rules are "try to eat more protein and don't go shit fucking crazy with carbs more than once a week." Works out well enough, I'm 10lbs off of my goal weight.

After two months of strictly adhering to 16:8 IF and losing 20 lbs, I went on a three day vacation with my inlaws and ate/drank well over maintenance all three days. Just eat less carbs because they are not filling, that for sure we know.
Other anon talking about healthy fats is right, eat less saturated fat if possible and less omega 6 fat, you want your omega 3:6 ratio to be no worse than 1:3, having the same amount of both is ideal.

Does anyone have any clothing/underwear suggestions to prevent chafing? Whenever I go cycling or walking, I end up feeling like my inner thighs have been cut with razors.

Whatever works honestly, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. I feel like a lot of the time people get fat is because of empty calories like soda, I know it was for me, even with all the garbage I used to eat if I drank water instead of soda I wouldn't have turned into bigs mclargehuge, peaked at 233, 149 now.

What are some good low cal sources of fiber where most of the carbs are fiber? I tried roasting some flax seeds but didn't do a very good job. Plus they aren't very low cal even though all of the carbs in them are fiber.

300 F for melon and squash seeds, not sure about flax. I would just toast them in a skillet if I were you.

Flax seed isn't good by itself, use it to bread chicken or throw it in shakes.
I recommend switching to chia seeds, better omega profile and last longer and taste better.
