A West Australian bodybuilder's death has been partially blamed on her high intake of bodybuilding supplements and protein shakes.
Meegan Hefford, 25, had ramped up her workouts and restricted her diet in preparation for a bodybuilding competition next month.
She was found unconscious in her Mandurah apartment in June and died in hospital three days later, Perth Now reports.
Bodybuilding supplements were listed on her death certificate as one of the causes of death, according to her family. (pic unrelated)
