So, last week I went on vacation and just got back. I guess I left my protein bottle with a little left in it on my patio. I came back today and there was like 30 fucking maggets in it. I freaked out and sprayed it with bug/ant killer spray and washed it out. I spent like 30 minutes washing it with soap and hot water and it still smells FUCKING AWFUL. Like a dead animal smell, even though the plastic looks clean. You guys have any protips for cleaning this or did I ruin the plastic and it's fucked trash at this point.

Stop drinking out of plastic. Barring heavy use of industrial cleaning agents, your bottle is never going to smell fresh again. Throw it out. Buy stainless steel bottle. Wash with hot water after use.
