Why does the human body weaken so easily? Humans can live to over 100, but they reach their physical best when theyve only lived a quarter of their lives
>shitting yourself in a wheel chair and having no idea where or who you are at all times
>"living" to 100
Protein / nutrition. NAD ("the breath of the cells") is a metabolite of the amino acid tryptophan.
We as a species have only recently started living to around 80 years old. For the vast majority of our species' history the life expectancy is maybe 50.

My great grandma of 92 is probably the most sane/lucid person in this fucking family desu

People lived to 80 years old and more for thousands of years, this has nothing to do with life expectancy
>>42504081
Lies people used to live into there hundreds in great antiquity
>>42504081
It doesnt matter. Despite living longer, we arent aging slower

If we mastered Yoga we could live to a 150 easily without any physical problems by controlling breath and minimizing oxidation while controlling hormones trhough various excercises. In this dark age living that much is pointless though so better lift heavy and get big. Who wants to live in the shitty globalized post industrial world anyways.

Not really, unless you're talking about when we lived in caves. The average life expectancy used to be lower because of higher rates of infant/child mortality. If you look at the past life expectancy of people from a few hundred years ago who survived to adulthood it's very similar to modern times.

Because for the last 1000 years or so medicine has been keeping people alive passed their natural lifespan. If humans were designed to live a long time then we wouldn't fuck as much as we do.
There is less evolutionary pressure to live beyond the point of having reproduced several offspring and raised them to maturity. Family ties and the use of grandparents in a tribe are somewhat recent, evolutionarily speaking, so haven't yet adapted us for physical usefulness at longer lifespans.
Count yourself lucky, some animals die right after reproducing.
