The medical community has expanded the "normal" test range all the way down to like 250ng/dL, and another "normal" guy could have 1100ng/dL. In reality, anything below 450 is fucking rock bottom low, and it's unlikely you will test lower than the norm unless you are 90 years old.

You don't know if he is low T or not. TRT has changed many lives for the better. He probably isn't. but it doesn't hurt to have it checked, so that he can then eliminate it as a possibility as a cause of his problems. If his T levels are low he will greatly benefit from getting it up in the normal to high range.
