Best pre-workout warm-up? I hear stretches are a thing after you've completed your routine.

I do jumping rope and joint warm up (wrist, elbows, shoulders etc )
I rarely stretch and now i have shit mobility. Can't even touch the ground without bending my knees, whenever i squat to deep my hip flexors feel sore for the rest of the day. Anyone also felt this?
