So I've been working out and dieting seriously did the first time in years and I've gotten serious results with weight loss. I was doing good gaining muscle but once I added overhead press my shoulder swelled up and it's been bothering me. (I had a shoulder surgery and I'm not supposed to do overhead press. I'm taking it light this week and rehabbing with exercise bands. So in a future where I can't do overhead press anymore will my build look retarded? Or will I be all right as long as I do bench and push ups? (Have to be careful with bench too due to shoulder).
We don't know the specifics about your shoulder injury nor would 99.999% of us be able to answer you even if we did since we're not trained professionals. You should contact someone who actually knows his shit (i.e a doctor specialized in sports) about this

You should(er) ask a sports doctor.
How the fuck can we know without even seeing the fucking shoulder, how mobile it is, knowing what kind of surgery you've had?
If you want I'll ask the magic 8-ball. Look, it says 'OP is a faggot'!

I'm just asking if my build is going to look retarded without overhead press. I'm not doing overhead press anymore one way or the other. In other words, how essential is overhead press to a balanced physique?

Torn labrum/ mild shoulder separation

There's some light exercises I can do for the shoulders which don't bother me but I guess I already knew I would never achieve Greek god mode with my shoulder injury. Kindof annoying that one sports injury fucked me for life. But w/e shit happens I guess, thanks for the input
