Unhealthy.
Regardless of what size you are, you will always be healthier at a "proper" weight/body composition.
It's most often indicative of laziness, and low self worth.
People don't actually find fat people attractive, unless it's a fetish.
You're causing long-term damage to your body, and depending on how far you've gone, it could be irreparable.
You tend to sweat more, and smell worse
etc...

Nothing wrong with being fat as long as you keep it to yourself, but people advocating that fat=healthy is what bothers me. No need to coerce others into your selfdestructive habits in my opinion.
More than anything, I pity the fatties who know they're fat but deal with their unhealthiness by laughing it off. I pity the way they're proud of finishing two meals, when they're can't climb a set of stairs without being out of breath, the awkwardness when their fat bumps into everything when riding the bus.
But the thing I pity most of all is their ignorance and their lack of willpower, discipline and self respect. I can't imagine a life where I sit in front on my ass all day giving into any craving my sugar addicted body throws at me.
And the worst thing is, they're passing all that on to their offspring with their probably equally fat partner, if they even make it to that point.

>Nothing wrong with being fat as long as you keep it to yourself
This statement is fucking wrong.
Fat people are a drain on society. They call in sick more than their normal/fit colleagues.
They also have to spent more on healthcare. Money they get from government collected tax.
Here's a vid that shows exactly what I mean

Other than that I agree with you though.

>What's wrong with being fat?
Do you enjoy failing in something as trivial as a 7 minute mile, despite being able bodied?
Do you enjoy failing to hold on to the pull-up bar while your 8 year old skinny cousin can effortlessly bang out 8 reps in a row?
If you answered yes to these questions, then there is nothing wrong. Keep doing you, since it makes you happy.
If no, read the sticky and don't post again until you drop to at least 19.9% bf

Major health problems not only make your life shit, but we all have to pay for it through our insurance, especially in places like where I live where we have universal healthcare.
Also fat people smell, take up seats on busses and planes, consume more resources, need motor vehicles to get around causing pollution, they're unable to be physically active meaning the defense industry has a smaller pool of soldiers to draw from, they pass their habits on to their children and cause the cycle of gluttony, weak-will and consumerism to continue, not to mention nobody but fetishists are attracted to them. But mainly it shows a weakness of will, an inability to control one's animal desire for the sensual pleasure of food.
Essentially there is zero redeeming qualities of being fat and no benefits.
I don't hate fat people as individuals, but it's an epidemic that needs solving.

TLDR: being fat sucks for both the lard ass, and everyone around the lard ass that's forced to support him.
Plus fat people are less able to work, even being eligible for "disability" bux which is horseshit since if a person makes enough money to maintain their weight then they don't need financial assistance, as well as the fact that unlike real disabilities being fat is entirely within your control.

I used to be like you. Welcome to /fit/ and please read the sticky. We give a lot of advice to fuck with people but the sticky is like the bible for noobs. Its also only the start of self-improvement.
Personally I used to be a fps (fat piece of shit). I was this loud obnoxious asshole. Then I lost weight and was a skinny obnoxious asshole. Losing weight isnt a sign of progress on its own.
Willpower is an attribute and a skill. I was over 250lbs and lost 75lbs in 6 months eating jack-in-the-box 5 days a week and not going to a gym. I did it by using the ketogenic diet. A lot of people here look at people like me and think Ill never make it.
Im an award winning scientist now, and doing research under a professor with an H-index thatll climb over 50 with his next big publication. Dont worry if thats meaningless to you.
To be fat is to mean you gave up.
If you want to be taken seriously in this world, you cant be a fps.

I got diabetes.
As soon as I started losing weight through diet change and exercise, my quality of life improved.
I have more energy. I'm more enthusiastic to do stuff. I like myself more.
Being fat is a goddamn prison. HAES is just a way for people to convince themselves they want to be stuck there.
the lack of self respect for your health and physical fitness
hi op, i have been morbidly obese at one point in my life and now i am only overweight.
it cant be explained through words. i can tell you, and youll read it, but youll never understand the world of difference.
once you lose weight you cant go back to being fat or youll just kill yourself. the only time this happens to people is when theyve already lost control of their life and were dead inside already.
i cant explain what being alive is like to a dead person who's never been alive.
