This is what powerlifters do (along with assistance lifts) to enhance their training on their primary lifts. They are analogous to bodybuilding isolation exercises (single-joint movement), but a bodybuilder doesn't do skullcrushers as an "accessory".
>deload
Bodybuilding doesn't care about numbers like this. If there's a weight you can't lift, just lower the weight. If you've already lifted that weight, just do more sets and reps of the weight until you're comfortable moving up. You're not "deloading", you're just not lifting like a dumbass.
>1/2/3/4
Your muscles don't have an odometer on them. They don't care how much exactly you lift. They just respond to tension. Intensity is an important factor in the equation, but not the only factor. Time-under-tension, the mind-muscle connection, volume, frequency, and rest duration also go into it. The first two are primarily why powerlifters can avoid muscle tissue gains.
