I know this feel..It's because I lift to make myself forget that I'm 23 and alone. Going to the gym gives me a sense that I'm bettering myself. When I get home, eat, etc I'm back to where I was before.

I realized I was always depressed after the gym because it was the only highlight of my days. Went away when I started making an effort to be more productive.
