>prepare hard for a 5k race
>realize while running it's full of up hills
>run it in 27m:23s, 1 minute away from my PR

It's your own fault for not planning ahead and looking at the actual route before signing up for it.

it is outside of the city, I thought training on the treadmill would be sufficient
I picked up running literally 2 days ago.

>having trouble with a fucking 5k
>takes 30 minutes to run a 5k
you should be timing AT LEAST 20 minutes, shits easy
>>42463480
what? 20 minutes?
my first 5k was 39 minutes
best one was 26m:28s
I don't know how the fuck you guys run it in 20 minutes like it's nothing
maybe it's my height/weight (6'1 / 90 kg) ?
How do I stop my legs from burning up during a run? The outside of my shin area gets really sore after about a mile and I have to stop even though I'm not really out of breath. I've gotten into running a few times and this has always been the main thing holding me back, and makes me give up after a few weeks.
guys i havent ran in a month and a half now
my plantar faciitis still scares me that it will come back?
should i run again?

Yeah dude you legit have an overweight BMI of course you can't run a 5k in under 20.
